If I were to have a blog in my classroom, I would use it as an online page to show parents what is going on in our classroom. I would post maybe once a week ( maybe once a month) and discuss what we are going to be learning that week (or month) and what to expect. I would also use it to remind parents of special days, or ask for volunteers. I would use it like a weekly newsletter, but instead it would be online for all parents to view.

Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to be a teacher. I remember being in first grade and taking home all of the extra papers at the end of the school year so that I could take them home and play school over the summer. I have always been interested in teaching younger aged children, preferably under the age of 8. This would include kindergarten up to 3rd grade. My areas of interest in teaching a certain subject seem to change daily. This is why I think I would be good at teaching all subjects to younger children. I love learning new things and I cant wait to bring children the joy of learning. It is such a joy when I can think of a new way to teach something and having that child "click" and understand. I can't wait to take what I have learned here into the classroom to help children explore and understand the world around them.
